TAPE Animation Club wins 2nd place at PICS Film Festival

The TAPE Animation Club’s entry into the PICS Film Festival was shortlisted for an award at the PICS Film Festival back in February, and it is with great pleasure to announce that our animated short claimed SECOND PLACE in its category.

Festival is an annual festival organised by Galeri Caernarfon that is specifically targeted for Children and Young People. The festival is a mixture of:

  • Film screenings (mainstream, specialist and international titles)
  • Workshops
  • Special events (e.g Q+As with film-makers)
  • Short Film competition
  • Awards Night

The festival takes place every year, and is made possible with the support of Film Agency Wales and the Arts Council of Wales.

The children got a taste of Red Carpet glamour at the glitzy event, collecting the prize on stage in front of a room full of people.

Da Iawn/Well done to all of the AWARD WINNING TAPE Animation Club – we are incredibly proud of you, and you should be proud of yourselves for all of your hard work and enthusiasm.
