MATILDA: SCRATCH ‘N’ SNIFF: POSTPONED DUE TO BAD WEATHER – NEW DATE TBC
We are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the film with this extra special screening of the family favourite, Matilda.
This ‘Scratch ‘n’ Sniff’ event invites the audience to fully immerse themselves, awake the senses and smell along with the movie. Now you can join Matilda as she whips up a batch of pancakes and cheer on Bruce as he struggles with that giant chocolate cake; dive in to the magic of the movies!
We will be working with the school to develop activities and entertainment ahead of the event.
Please make sure you bring a blanket or picnic chair to sit on and some warm clothing. We advise that you check the weather forecast on the day of the event and be prepared to embrace the Great British Weather.
More information and advice about attending one of our outdoor cinema events can be found on our website.
The project is taking place with the support of the BFI (British Film Institute), which has awarded National Lottery funding, and in collaboration with the Roald Dahl Estate, which is marking the centenary with the Roald Dahl 100, a year packed full of exciting surprises and treats.

Please book a ticket for each individual in your party – including small children.

A significant number of no-shows at recent events have meant that we have had a lot of disappointed people on our waiting lists that could have attended.
