TAPE Community Music and Film is delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Higginson, Executive Vice President at 20th Century Fox, as a patron for the charity.
TAPE CEO, Steve Swindon and Paul have been developing links in recent months and discussions around support for projects and TAPE’s plans for development have led to Paul accepting the invitation to join the TAPE team.
Paul says: It is a privilege to have been invited to become a Patron of TAPE alongside my close friend, since childhood, Mike Peters. The creativity and dedication of the team at TAPE affords diverse opportunities for people of all ages in North Wales to explore their creative capabilities in music and film. The TAPE team have created an environment in which participants are encouraged to believe in and explore their abilities and to find their latent talent. Anything I can do to support them in their endeavours will be a pleasure as I have a powerful affinity for North Wales , being a native of Rhyl where our parents brought up my 3 sisters, 3 brothers and me!
The appointment was formally announced at the launch of one of TAPE’s latest projects at Paul’s former school, Blessed Edwards Jones High School, in Rhyl earlier today.
The TAPE team are delighted to be working with Paul and hugely grateful for the opportunity to draw on his experience and ideas in the development of the charity.
