TAPE Community Projects.

Sessions take place on Zoom and in the TAPE Community Arts Centre in Old Colwyn.  Sessions at the centre are also accessible via Zoom. Please check the diary on the What’s On page at www dot tapemusicandfilm dot co dot uk for up to date information.  All workshops welcome people with no previous experience.

Monday.

TAPE Art.

1 till 3 pm.

Currently working on art linked to local heritage as part of the Imagine Trail project. 18+.

Tuesday.

Animation Club.

Livestream via Tape Animation Club Facebook page.

4 till 5 30 pm

For all ages looking at animation techniques, kit and home animation projects. Ages 8 – 18.

Wednesday.

TAPE Sound.
10 till 12 pm
Discover the world of sound and composition. These sessions will include music making, recording, foley sound recording and archive sound research. 18+.

Imagine Trail: Animation.

1 til 2 30 pm

Starting 2nd Feb.

 Learn to bring a local heritage story to life through animation. Creating movement frame by frame to tell the story and bring characters to life. You will be part of a team producing a finished piece from storyboarding to final edit. 18+.

 Ghostbuskers.

Zoom group video.

6 till 7 pm

A community music group welcoming people of all ages and abilities. Join the group, say hi and we’ll send you a songbook and an invite to our weekly online rehearsal. .

Media Club.

10 till 12 pm and

1 till 3 pm

Podcasting, sound recording, film reviews and cinema programming. For people 18 and over.

Wellbeing Radio.

4 till 5 30 pm

Starting 3rd Feb.

 Creating a radio show and podcast focused on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing. Ages 11-17.

 Writers Room.

4 till 5 30 pm

A place for writers of all kinds to express and explore their ideas as a group.
