TAPE supports accredited learning and is an Agored Approved Centre.

TAPE is a charity that is open to everyone.  Our team and facilities support hands-on experiences and opportunities in areas such as filmmaking, audio production, music, photography, VR, design, creative writing, podcasting and much more.   

Our timetable includes weekly workshop sessions such as the Backstage Youth Clubs, Writer’s Room, Ghostbuskers and Animation Club, as well as events, cinema screenings, bespoke projects, training and much more.

Approaching Shadows

Approaching Shadows is the second feature film from TAPE Community Music and Film. During their golden wedding weekend away Edward and Violet Knights are brutally separated, triggering a wife’s desperate pursuit of her husband through an increasingly frightening world. 
The film has been made through an inclusive production model which has supported over 250 people across the project, through workshops, events and bespoke support. 
The film will had it’s UK Premiere at London’s BFI Southbank Cinema as part of the BFI’s Busting the Bias Festival in December 2021 and has been acquired for distribution in the UK and Ireland by Bohemia Media.

British Winters

TAPE’s debut feature ‘British Winters’ is now available to stream on the British Winters page

British Winters is a British comedy drama about a self-pitying barman whose life is in a state of crisis. The film is the debut feature from Tape Community Music and Film – delivered using an inclusive production model which has subsequently seen the film used as a case study for promoting inclusion by the BFI.
